Product Details

Woven Silk Design Bib Apron.  Direct from the V&A in London, this design first appeared in London in 1706, designed by British designer James Leman (1688-1745).

James Leman was a master weaver, designer, and prominent member of the Spitalfields silk industry in London's East End. His fragile yet vibrant album is one of the V&A’s greatest treasures, containing the earliest-known English designs for woven silk.

The artwork for this kitchen apron is taken from an original Leman design and features an imaginative mix of floral and geometric forms in a glorious palette.

Lovely quality and pattern that any woman would like.

Matching kitchen accessories and coordinates available.
