Louis C. Tiffany, "Clematis" Oblong Silk Scarf. This splendid scarf design was adapted from the Clematis floor lamp, made by Tiffany Studios about 1900–1906. The lamp's cone-shaped shade depicts blue clematis flowers in full bloom, with the flower petals and leaves rendered in colorful mottled and rippled glass.
Produced in cooperation with the New-York Historical Society.
