Peugeot France, Bistro Chef Zirlion Salt Mill, Ivory, 4"
The Bistro mill is a staple across cafes and restaurant tables throughout France — a timeless design that delivers a touch of nostalgia wherever it goes. Its compact yet refined ivory finish complements both classic and modern kitchens, crafted from sustainably sourced PEFC-certified beechwood and proudly made in France.
The Zirlion ceramic salt crushing mechanism features two ribbed plates that fracture and crush coarse, dry sea salt to a consistent size. Grind coarseness is adjusted using the knob on the head of the mill — tighten for finer salt, loosen for coarser. The mill arrives partially pre-filled with salt from the factory, ready to use straight out of the box.
Built to last with a lifetime warranty on the grinding mechanism, the Bistro Chef embodies Peugeot's 180-year heritage of functional design — a kitchen essential that elevates every meal with freshly ground salt and timeless French craftsmanship.
Peugeot — Instruments of Good Taste
The Peugeot story began in 1812 — first with saws, then in 1840 the first mill was added to the range of the French manufacturer. Under the sign of the well-known lion, Peugeot develops and manufactures products for daily use with the aim of user-friendliness and functionality. These are also characterized by a shapely and classic design, which enriches every kitchen with an elegant touch.
