What are French rillettes?
Rillettes are a traditional French delicacy made by slow-cooking chopped, salted meat (like pork, duck, or chicken) or fish in their own fat until it is very tender, then shredding it and mixing it with the cooking juices to form a savory, coarse paste. This rich spread is typically served at room temperature on bread or toast, often with pickles or cornichons for contrast.

About Mouettes d'Arvor
Mouettes d’Arvor produces an extensive line of tinned fish, including sardines, mackerel, anchovies, as well as a growing line of fish rillettes in glass jars. Mouettes d’Arvor is a brand of the Conserverie Jacques Gonidec, a family business founded in 1959. It is one of the very last artisanal fish canneries based at Concarneau, in Brittany. Using sustainable fishing practices, the fish are caught fresh, never frozen, and prepared by hand. The products are made with all-natural ingredients and no artificial flavoring.
