About Les Céramiques de Lussan"When art invites itself to the Henhouse". Heidi Caillard studied fine art and ceramics from 1949-1962, and opened a small pottery workshop in 1968 in a village near Uzes, Southern France. Heidi developed a deep fondness for the little birds that ran around her garden and decided to create them in clay. As business thrived she moved her family to a larger farmhouse in Lussan, the picturesque walled medieval village in Provence. All their ceramics are hand made and hand painted to a very high standard and are much sought after all around the world.
