Samuel Lamont, Woven Silk Oven Mitt (Gauntlet), V&A Museum
Heavy duty, insulted, quilted oven mitt with hanging loop.  Direct from the V&A in London, this design first appeared in London in 1706, designed by British designer James Leman (1688-1745).

James Leman was a master weaver, designer, and prominent member of the Spitalfields silk industry in London's East End. His fragile yet vibrant album is one of the V&A’s greatest treasures, containing the earliest-known English designs for woven silk.

The artwork for this kitchen coordinate range is taken from an original Leman design and features an imaginative mix of floral and geometric forms in a glorious palette.

Made with premium materials designed for years of use.

Matching kitchen accessories and coordinates available.
