The black cherry, this emblematic red fruit resembling a black fruit when fully ripe, is an essential specialty of the southwest of France. - a  true star from the French Basque Country.

Small fleshy, juicy, fragrant and tart black cherries are simmered slowly and delicately cooked in copper cauldrons with cane sugar under the care of Maison Miot master jam makers. This results in revealing the Morello Cherry’s powerful aromatic flavors.

Fresh and delicious, this jam received the Blue Ribbon for the Best Intersuc Jam in Paris.  Awarded Champion of the World three times.

Serving
It is customary to pair it with sheep's cheese or a Basque cake, but it will be just as appreciated on your breakfast sandwiches.
