Clément Faugier Marrons Glacés (French Candied Chestnuts) 11 Vac-Packed Tin 260g

Marrons glacés are a candied and glazed chestnut, a confection that originated in northern Italy and southern France. The process involves candying chestnuts in a sugar syrup over several days until they are fully saturated, resulting in a sweet, creamy, and luxurious treat. They are a popular holiday confection and often served as a special gift  Marrons glacés (candied chestnuts) are a refined delicacy especially appreciated by the French around Christmas and New Year's time. Take your time to savor each of these deliciously moistured (and a bit sticky) marrons glacés.

Established by the confectioner Clément Faugier in 1882 in Ardèche, France's most prominent chestnut region, Clément Faugier has remained a local family-owned business focused on chestnut specialties to this day.

Marron Glace is considered a luxury product, and the producers must adhere to rigorous standards during the production process. A proper Marron Glace must have a thin coating of crunchy glaze, but the chestnut itself must be very tender and soft, with practically a melt-in-your-mouth quality to it.

Guaranteed to delight little gourmets of all ages.
