Fontainebleau Bouquet, Oiseau et Fleurs Large Pillow / Cushion Woven Tapestry Cover
Le Château de Fontainebleau: La Chambre de la Reine - Oiseau et Fleurs (Bouquet of Flowers and Bird Cage & Bird). The Queen's Bedroom at Château of Fontainebleau was the bedroom of all the female sovereigns from the end of the 16th century up to the 17th century, and each left her mark on it. The monogram of Anne of Austria can be seen on the central section of the ceiling (1644), that of Marie Leszczynska on the alcove ceiling (1746-1747), and a bed designed at the request of Marie-Antoinette (1787), who, however, never slept in it.
This pillow cushion is a national french museum reproduction of a floral wall hanging showing flowers, and open bird cage in center, and a free bird in the Queen's bedroom made in 1780.
Backside of pillow is in ecru / ivory white cotton. The hidden zippers allows for easy removal and insertion of cushion inserts allowing you to choose the level of plushness you desire.
These imported French woven tapestry pillows will last for years and complement almost any decor.
